40- 50's Tribe - Girls Weekend Away & Bike Tour

If you'll enjoy a weekend adventure away, come and join your fellow, '40's - 50s Tribe,' during a super-fun, super-friendly, Girls MB'ng adventure  to Ohakune :-) 

Nervous you won't know anyone? 

You'll be in safe hands as this is your host, Susan West's first girls weekend away too!  Plus, all Tribe Events are designed to be attended solo because everyone you meet, at every Tribe Event, is there to make new friends too. You'll love it!  

Fitness Levels - Tthis is a Grade 4 MB'ng ride, but that's only because it's remote ... It's got a gentle uphill 1 hour climb at the start a wee bit of a technical downhill so if you're comfortable with anything up to a Grade 3 you'll be right-as-rain. 

If you're worried your fitness levels aren't up to the 36 km ride,  hire yourself an e-bike so you can sit back, and enjoy the beautiful scenary from your throne on the saddle.  

Cycling Tour - You, and your bike will catch the shuttle bus down the Ruatiti Valley to the start of the Mangapurua Track and, at the end of your 3-5 hour ride,  you'll be met by a jet boat and zoom you,  and your bike,  back to Pipiriki. From Pipiriki you will then transported back to where you started. 

You will be riding 36 km and experience the stunning Wanganui Forest plus the famous, 'Bridge to Nowhere' where you'll experience beautiful outlooks,  waterfalls, and many  amazing stops along the way.

This includes transport to, and from, the starting point 

Accommodation is a  large, two storey beach-front home on Waihi beach. We'll each have our own bed but if we've 8-10pax, 2 will need to sleep on sofa beds so quick! RSVP now as it's a case of first in, first in a bedroom :-)

Itinerary:

 - Arrive at your accommodation, settle in and have a lovely night at home. Everyone will pitch in, make a delicious dinner, bring board games you'll enjoy and have a great night in. 

Saturday [ADD DATE]

 -  Be in Ohakune by 7:30am with a picnic, snacks and waterbottle and enjoy the ride! 

- Arvo / Evening - Head out to the pub for a meal and then to the hot pools for a well-deserved soak. 

Sunday [ADD DATE]

-   Shared breakfast and check out of accommodation and head home
