40- 50's Tribe - Girls Weekend Away & MTB Adventure

If you'll enjoy a super-fun, super-friendly, girls' weekend away, come and join your fellow, '40's - 50s Tribe,' during MTB adventure to Ohakune :-) 

Nervous you won't know anyone? 

You'll be in safe hands as this is your host, Susan West's first, Tribe Gals' getaway too!  Plus, all Tribe Events are designed to be attended solo because everyone you meet, at every Tribe Event, is there to make new friends too. You'll love it!  

THE PLAN -

Friday  7th May

 - Arrive at your accommodation from 3 pm (most will be coming after work but whatever best suits you). Settle into your accommodation, and have a lovely, 'girls' night in. Order some dinner-in and bring along some board games, sup some wine... Expect good times and great girl chats! 

Saturday 8th May

 -  You'll all be in Ohakune by 7:30 am with your picnic, snacks, and water bottle ready to go where you, and your bike will be shuttled in to enjoy the 3-5 hour ride! Called, 'The Bridge to Nowhere' this renowned, well-graded track, is suitable for most MB'ng levels if you're comfortable with a slightly technical downhill at the end. In the end, you're met by a jet boat that'll take you back to where you began. 

- Arvo / Evening - Head out to the pub for a meal and then to the hot pools for a well-deserved soak. 

Sunday 29th May

-   Shared breakfast and check out of accommodation at 10 am and head home

Fitness Levels - 

Part of the mountains to sea Trail  A full day adventure  38 km of backcountry Trail riding The track rides like a nontechnical grade 3 trial when it’s dry but when it’s wet it’s muddy and difficult ride and good mountain bike skills are required.

If you're worried your fitness levels aren't up to the 36 km ride,  hire yourself an e-bike so you can sit back, and enjoy the beautiful scenery from your throne on the saddle.  

COSTS: 

Ebike hire, Tribe RSVP fee + transfer: $340 

Standard MB bike hire Tribe RSVP fee and transfer $310

Hard Tail MB Tribe RSVP fee and transfer $270

+ $100-125 for accommodation depending on our numbers

Accommodation is up to x2, large, lovely homes in Ohakune. ALL LINEN + TOWEL provided. 

You'll each have your own bed but may need to share a room.  

PLEASE NOTE: 9 people is the minimum number required for this fun, fabulous Girls Weekend to go ahead so please RSVP now to secure yourself a bedroom, pay your non-refundable deposit, and assure ourselves we've enough interest.
